Christopher Davis
The city of Enterprise, Alabama, has named Christopher Davis its new fire chief. From 2009-2016 Davis was captain of the Enterprise Rescue Squad, and in 2018 he became program director of the emergency medical services division of ESCC. He is a 2018 CSU graduate.

Charles Peraza
Charles “Chuck” Peraza is Imperial County, California’s new emergency medical services agency manager. Peraza began his career with the Brawley fire department in 1994 as a call-paid firefighter before becoming a full-time firefighter in 1996. From there, he worked his way up through the ranks, serving as lieutenant firefighter, fire marshal and ultimately fire chief. Peraza earned his associate and bachelor’s degree with CSU.

Missy Feather
Colleton Medical Center has hired Missy Feather, DNP, MBA-HCM, RN-BC, to be their next chief nursing officer. “My goal with the CNO role is to build trust, consensus and act as the chief advocate for the nurses so we can ensure high quality, safe patient care for the people of Walterboro [South Carolina] and the surrounding counties,” said Feather. She is a 2012 CSU graduate.

William J. Taylor
National Constables and Marshals Association announced the appointment of Chief Marshal William J. Taylor as state director for Georgia. Taylor is a veteran of the Air Force and has more than 31 years of law enforcement experience. He holds a criminal justice administration degree from CSU.

Alexandrae Wint
Alexandrae Wint climbed the career ladder in his job with the New York State Assembly Speakers Office. Starting out as an intern, Wint now holds the title of community relations director for NYSA. He is a 2021 CSU graduate.

Bryan Smith
Bryan Smith was sworn in as the town of Whitman, Massachusetts’ fire lieutenant. Smith is a certified EMT and paramedic who first joined the Whitman Fire Rescue in 2008. He is a 2016 CSU graduate.

Vijayen Ramachandra
Vijayen Ramachandra was featured in the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers latest magazine issue as the 2020 Workplace Safety and Health Officer award winner. “Receiving the WSHO Award 2020 and being recognized as the safety professional of the year is the greatest achievement in my career so far,” said Ramachandra. He is a current CSU student pursing a bachelor’s in occupational safety and health.

Quentin Cash
Quentin Cash was sworn in as the youngest president of the North Carolina State Firefighters Association. Cash is the battalion chief at the Shelby Fire Department and a former NCSFA Firefighter of the Year. He holds an MBA from CSU.

Roger Collins
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Kennebec Valley has hired Roger Collins as its sports director. Collins has more than 25 years of experience in coaching and directing sports programs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and sports management with CSU in 2020.

Tim Ogden
Tim Ogden has been selected as the new chief of the city of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal (South Carolina) Fire Department. Ogden earned a bachelor’s in fire science and a master’s in public administration for emergency service management, both degrees from Columbia Southern University.

Steve Mason
Deputy Chief Jon “Steve” Mason was named interim fire chief for the city of Wilmington, North Carolina. Mason has served as the department’s deputy fire chief since 2017. He holds a master’s of public administration from CSU.
