CSU Introduces New Degree Programs, Concentrations and Embedded Certificates

Columbia Southern University is committed to offering programs that meet the needs of students in their respective career fields. After thorough review and collaboration, the university is pleased to launch the following degree programs, concentrations and embedded certificates.

Degrees
  • Associate of Science in Emergency Medical Services
  • Master of Science in Homeland Security – Management
  • Master of Science in Homeland Security – Emergency Services Management
  • Master of Science in Homeland Security – Criminal Justice
Concentrations
  • Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration – Forensics
  • Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration – Emergency Medical Services*
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health – Construction Safety
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health – Oil and Gas
  • Master of Business Administration – Entrepreneurship
Embedded Certificates**  
  • Cybersecurity – Undergraduate Certificate
  • Emergency Management – Undergraduate Certificate
  • Psychology – Undergraduate Certificate
  • Military Operations – Undergraduate Certificate

 

*Previously known as the Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration – Emergency Medical Services Management. **Embedded certificates are not available for direct enrollment. Students may earn an embedded certificate by completing courses that meet certificate requirements within the degree program of record.

CSU will waive the change of program fee for these programs through Dec. 31, 2020. Students who have questions about these new academic programs are encouraged to reach out to their academic advisor.

    How similar is the class schedule for the OIL and Gas Degeree to the regular Occupational Health and Safety Degree?

    Hopefully in the near future CSU will add a Program Manager certificate or degree program focused on the preparation to become certified in the field. This would be a great addition to the current degree and certificate tracks. Im a two time graduate of CSU, so keep doing great things for us!! GO KNIGHTS!!

    Hello I recently enrolled in school at CSU I am interested in the AS in homeland security and emergency management degree. I feel it’s better for what I had in mind. How to I change this.
