Ray Iverson
Redwood City, California, recently announced the hiring of CSU grad Ray Iverson as its new fire chief. Iverson, who graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s in fire administration, has been a member of the California Fire Service profession since 1991 and has both public and private sector experience in fire service.
J.W. Hodge
J.W. Hodge was recently hired as director of the Office of Policy and Strategy for the city of Reno, Nevada. He completed a bachelor’s in health care administration in 2020.
Scott Guillerault
Scott Guillerault was hired as the new fire chief for Ellsworth, Maine’s fire department. He earned his bachelor’s in fire science with CSU in 2013.
Rometta Washington
Rometta Washington was recently selected as a recipient of an American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo scholarship. She is a current student of CSU seeking a master’s in occupational safety and health.
Christopher Mills
Cecil College in North East Maryland announced Christopher Mills as the new vice president of finance and administration. He completed his MBA with concentration in finance in 2020.
Frank Babinec
Frank Babinec, the city manager for Coral Springs, Florida, is now one of more than 1,300 local government management professionals currently credentialed through the International City/County Management Association’s voluntary credentialing program. He has held the position of city manager since December 2019. He earned his MBA with a concentration in public administration in 2011.
John Cornish
Oswego, Illinois Fire Department has a new fire chief. John Cornish has served as assistant chief since 2016. He holds a master’s in emergency management which he completed in 2019.
Jeff Beaman
Jeff Beaman has been selected as the new fire chief for Gallatin, Tennessee. He has served more than 30 years in fire service and was previously the assistant fire chief for the Germantown Tennessee Fire Department. He earned his master’s degree in emergency management in 2014.
Cassidy Murphy
FinTrust Capital Advisors has appointed Cassidy Murphy to the position of financial planner. Murphy will be responsible for collecting and analyzing client data and strategic financial plan development. She earned her bachelor’s in business administration in 2014.
