Mike Hathaway
The city of Cordele, Georgia, has named Mike Hathaway as their new police chief. In his new role, Hathaway is committed to community policing, focusing on building relationships with the community in order to reduce low-level crime. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from CSU.

Kenneth Jacks
Denison Fire Rescue has welcomed Kenneth Jacks as their interim fire chief. Jacks held the position of interim fire chief for Tomball, Texas, after spending 27 years with the Richardson Fire Department and then held the position of fire chief for the New Braunfels Fire Department until 2019. He is a 2009 CSU graduate.

Joseph Rufft
The CBE Group has hired Joseph Rufft as their new business support analyst. He has a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Columbia Southern University.

Shane Glaiser
Shane Glaiser has been named interim fire chief for the Round Rock Fire Department. Glaiser began his career in Round Rock in June 1995. “It’s an honor to continue serving the citizens of Round Rock and the members of our fire department in this capacity,” Glaiser said. “I’m excited to lead the amazing men and women of our team during this next chapter as we implement new ways to serve the needs of our growing community.” He is a 2016 CSU graduate.

Robert Vogel
Robert Vogel was recently named fire chief of the Charlotte Fire Department. He has more than 30 years of experience in the fire field. He graduated from CSU in 2013 with a bachelor’s in fire administration.

Caleb Stempel
Caleb Stempel has joined Sanibel Captiva Community Bank as an information technology assistant at its operations center in Fort Myers, Florida. He enters the position with more than 15 years of information technology experience in various fields. He is a 2020 CSU graduate.

Anthony Davis
The city of Clinton, North Carolina, has announced the selection of Anthony Davis as the new police chief. Davis has served with the department for nearly 20 years. He has served in various positions over the years, including as a corporal in the traffic division and as a sergeant supervising the neighborhood improvement team. Davis earned his MBA and bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from CSU.

Scott Owen
Marshfield Fire & Rescue Chief Scott Owen has announced his upcoming retirement. “I am very proud to have served the city and the citizens over the last 25 years,” Owen said. “I have the highest admiration and respect for each member in this department.”  Owen has served 25 years with the city of Marshfield. He holds a bachelor’s degree in fire science from CSU.
