The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) has awarded Columbia Southern University student Greg Godish of Turnersville, New Jersey, the Robert C. Bohlmann, CEM, Scholarship for Service in Emergency Management. This competitive award recognizes outstanding academic achievement, professional dedication and significant contributions to the field of emergency management.
Godish is a certified emergency manager (CEM) and serves as assistant bureau chief of the Incident Support Bureau within the emergency management section of the New Jersey State Police, working with the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM). In addition, he chairs the Law and Directive Committee for NJOEM.

Godish oversees the operations of the New Jersey All-Hazards Incident Management Team (NJ-AHIMT), Urban Search and Rescue and public safety and security units. As a member of the NJ-AHIMT, he is a credentialed Type 3 planning section chief.
Godish is also fire commissioner with the Washington Township Fire Department and an adjunct professor at Rowan University, where he teaches disaster preparedness and emergency management.
The scholarship awarded him $3,500 to continue pursuing a Doctor of Emergency Management at Columbia Southern University.
