Columbia Southern University is proud to publish the first edition of the scholarly journal through its Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program.
The “Journal of Educational Practice and Technology” (JEPT) is a new biannual, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, and explores conceptual papers and case studies with an educational or training purpose.
The first edition contains such topics as the use of social media in adult education, which explores the effectiveness of using social media as a tool in business and in the classroom by combining qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Another topic involves bridging the anonymity cap between instructor and student in an online education format.

Submissions are reviewed on a continual basis, and you can submit your writing via the website at any time. The deadline for the March 2026 edition is Jan. 1, 2026.
