You Deserve Some Recognition: Show Off Your Academic Excellence Through CSU’s Digital Badges

Columbia Southern University is launching a new program designed to recognize all of your hard work and dedication to your studies. Now, you can begin earning digital badges for outstanding academic achievement. Awarded through a platform called Badgr, CSU’s digital badges are a fun way to show off your hard work and dedication to your studies.

A digital badge can be earned by making the CSU honors list, dean’s list or president’s list, or by being an active doctoral program candidate. Students receiving this honor will be able to proudly display their badges on LinkedIn or share them with other CSU students.

  • Honors List: Undergraduate student with a 3.0 to 3.49 GPA.
  • Dean’s List: Undergraduate student with a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA.
  • President’s List: Undergraduate or graduate student with a 4.0 GPA.
  • DBA Candidate: Student is an active doctoral program candidate.

Badges are awarded each semester. Eligible students will receive badges in in the weeks following the close of each semester. Students are eligible to receive a badge if they meet the requirements for courses completed and graded within the defined semester dates below.

  • Spring: January – April
  • Summer: May – August
  • Fall: September – December

Students must have no incomplete or repeat courses. Students should have zero confirmed academic integrity violations during the award time frame. Students must have completed 12 credits, three terms or LifePace Learning® enrollments at CSU. Only A-F graded coursework completed at CSU will be considered.
