“At the end of the day…your calling has to be something bigger than you. I’ve seen firsthand the impact of being able to impact somebody and being able to turn their life around 180 degrees. It’s what gets me up in the morning. It’s what keeps me going,” said Terrance Hinton, Ph.D., professor of criminal justice and homeland security. “As a teacher, I am imparting that same knowledge onto students who, in turn, pay it forward. If you’re called to this profession, do it to the best of your ability.”
