Columbia Southern University and the Coast Guard Chief Warrant and Warrant Officers Association (CWOA) are pleased to award Chief Warrant Officer Brandon Hansen as the recipient of its inaugural Coast Guard Chief Warrant and Warrant Officers Association Scholarship.
Hansen, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, joined the Coast Guard in 1991. Since then, he has been stationed numerous times from Puerto Rico to Guam. He will use this scholarship to pursue a Master of Science in emergency services management.
CSU’s military outreach team members Dr. Ernie Rosado and Katherine Thompson presented the scholarship to Hansen on Jan. 6, 2021.
This scholarship was developed in 2020 as a partnership between Columbia Southern University and the CWOA and is awarded annually to CWOA members. Eligibility required.
