CSU Graduate in Running for Council

Timothy Thompkins of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is being considered for the 7th District council. A retired human resources director and Affirmative Action officer for the city of Kenosha, Thompkins received his MBA from CSU.

CSU Knight Named Candidate for Sherriff Position

Jose “Joe” Lopez is a candidate for the position of sheriff in Orange County, Florida. He had a 32-year career as a state trooper and in 2017, he began his current role as senior manager of security for Walt Disney World. Lopez received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from CSU.

CSU Graduate Seeking Seat on City Council

Heath Smith is hoping to obtain a seat on the Rainbow City Council in Alabama. He is a retired firefighter and now serves as a fire investigator for a forensic consulting firm. Smith earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from CSU.

CSU Knight Promoted to Fire Chief

Anthony Marrama is the newest fire chief in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He has been the acting chief since July 1 and the City Council voted unanimously for him to attain the position
permanently. Marrama received his associate’s degree from CSU.
