CSU Knight Appointed as Vice Mayor

Pat Dent was sworn in as the vice mayor of the city of Williamsburg, Virginia. He retired from his position as fire chief with the Williamsburg Fire Department last year and has more than 38 years of local government experience. Dent earned his bachelor’s degree in fire science from CSU in 2012.

CSU Knight Named Police Chief

Shane McSheehy has been appointed as the newest police chief in Pella, Florida. He previously served as captain for the Eustis Police Department, where he worked for 24 years. He received his master’s degree in criminal justice administration from CSU.

CSU Graduate Begins Career as Loan Officer

Kim LaNeve is the newest loan officer at MidAtlantic Farm Credit in East New Market, Maryland. She previously worked for the company as a customer service representative. She received her MBA from CSU in May 2020.

CSU Graduate Named Director of Free Clinic

Mary Elizabeth Goldin has been named the executive director for the Loudoun Free Clinic in Virginia. She previously served as the executive director of consumer experience and director of surgical specialties with Kaiser Permanente. Goldin received her MBA in healthcare management from CSU in 2016.

Knight Named Coordinator for Service Member Organization

Heroes In Transitions, an organization that works with service members, veterans and military families, named Aaron Van Huysen their new family coordinator. The Massachusetts organization welcomed the Coast Guard chief warrant officer and his wife to the team earlier this summer. Van Huysen earned his bachelor’s and associate degrees, both in occupational safety and health, from CSU.
