CSU Knight Named Fire Chief

Norwood, Massachusetts has a new fire chief. Lt. John Cody has been with the Norwood Fire Department for 15 years, most recently serving as lieutenant of the Fire Prevention Office. The Marine Corps veteran received his bachelor’s degree in fire administration from CSU in 2015.

CSU Knight Receives NCFMA Scholarship

Thomas Raper of Hickory, North Carolina is the latest recipient of the North Carolina Fire Marshals’ Association (NCFMA) educational scholarship. Raper works as the fire inspector in Hickory and will use the scholarship to complete his bachelor’s degree in fire administration from CSU.

CSU Knight Finalist in Town Administrator Search

Danny Brown is one of four finalists for the position of town administrator in Argyle, Texas. He currently serves as the district manager for both the Tehachapi Public Cemetery District and the South Kern County Cemetery District, both in California. Brown received his bachelor’s degree in fire administration from CSU in 2017.

CSU Alumnus to Begin Role as Fire Chief

Ronny Beasley has been selected for the role of fire chief in La Vergne, Tennessee. He previously served the Memphis Fire Department for 28 years, most recently as division chief and training manager. Beasley received his bachelor’s in fire science and MPA in emergency services management from CSU.

CSU Alumnus Named Fire Chief

Mark Bozik will soon begin his new role as fire chief in Roselle, Illinois. He brings 30 years of experience in fire leadership to the department, most recently serving as deputy fire chief for the same department. Bozik earned his bachelor’s in fire science from CSU in 2012.
