Gregory Seymour
The Keene (New Hampshire) Fire Department (KFD) has appointed Deputy Fire Chief Gregory Seymour as fire chief. Seymour brings two decades of fire and emergency medical services experience to the position. He joined the KFD as a firefighter and paramedic in 2014 and has risen through the ranks, including lieutenant and training officer, lieutenant of operations, captain and shift commander, acting deputy chief and deputy fire chief of operations. He earned an associate degree in fire science from CSU.

Steven Higginbotham
Deputy Chief Steven Higginbotham has been named interim police chief with the Tuscumbia (Alabama) Police Department. He has served the department for 18 years and has worked in law enforcement for more than two decades. He is also a United States Air Force veteran. He received an associate degree in criminal justice administration from CSU.

Robert Smith
Vance County, North Carolina, has appointed Robert Smith as fire marshal. Smith brings 29 years of fire service experience to the role, with an extensive background in investigation, code enforcement, emergency response and community risk reduction. He previously served as deputy fire marshal of the Fayetteville Fire Department and as fire marshal of the Beaufort Fire Department. He earned a bachelor’s degree in fire administration from CSU.

Jacob Nolin
Jacob Nolin has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. He currently serves as the operating partner of Nolin, Nolin and Associates Investigation and Intelligence Agency, a specialized private investigation firm based in the Florida Panhandle. Under Nolin’s leadership, the firm has developed expertise in civil and criminal defense, cold case homicides, missing persons and child custody investigations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from CSU.

Kenneth Jacks
Denison (Texas) Fire Rescue has announced the retirement of Fire Chief Kenneth Jacks. He is set to retire Oct. 23, 2026, after serving five years in the role. He has worked in fire rescue for nearly three decades and has helped the department work through several expansion and recruitment-centered projects. Jacks received a bachelor’s degree in fire science from CSU.

Sierramaria Fitzgerald
Sierramaria Fitzgerald has been featured in Influential Women magazine for her commitment to the environmental health and safety industry. Throughout her seven-year tenure in the field, she has dedicated her career to protecting workers, strengthening compliance and creating safer, more accountable job sites. She is currently the supervisor of EHSR Field Safety at The Hallen Construction Co., Inc., in the New York City metropolitan area. Her experience includes construction safety and loss prevention, with specialized expertise in OSHA compliance, field safety operations, workforce training and risk management within the natural gas construction industry. She earned a master’s degree in occupational safety and health from CSU.
