Columbia Southern University is proud to publish a scholarly journal through its Doctor of Education (EdD) program.
The “Journal of Educational Practice and Technology” (JEPT) is a new biannual, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research that explores conceptual papers and case studies with an educational or training purpose.
The JEPT seeks to be a cross-disciplinary journal, publishing from these and related disciplines:
- K-12 Education and Technology Integration
- Higher Education Innovations
- Instructional Design and Pedagogy
- Program Assessment and Evaluation
- Professional Development and Training
- Educational Leadership and Policy
- Corporate Training and Workforce Development
- Classroom Management
- Digital Citizenship
Columbia Southern University faculty, alumni, and master’s and doctoral-level students are invited to submit a paper for consideration in future editions. Additionally, external faculty members, researchers and education professionals are also encouraged to submit their scholarly writings.

Submissions are reviewed on a continual basis, and you can submit your writing via the website at any time. The deadline for publication in the October 2025 edition is Aug. 1, 2025; the deadline for the March 2026 edition is Jan. 1, 2026.
