Robert Logan
Deputy San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Chief Robert Logan has been named as the city’s next fire chief. In this role, he supervises and manages six divisions within the SDFD, including recruitment, health and safety, community outreach, professional standards and training. “I am deeply honored and grateful to be appointed by Mayor Gloria to be our city’s next fire chief,” Logan said. “Growing up, I faced numerous challenges that shaped my resolve, resilience, commitment to service and a profound understanding of our community’s needs and realities.” He is a 2024 CSU graduate.

Paul Trouard
The Lafayette Police Department has appointed Paul Trouard as their newest chief. He has 27 years of law enforcement experience and served as a Staff Sergeant in the Louisiana National Guard. “My expectation is that I expect perfection. If we chase perfection, we can achieve excellence,” said Trouard. “Public safety is everyone’s responsibility, and we are always better when we work together.” He is a 2021 CSU graduate with a master’s degree in organizational leadership.

Danielle Frane
The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Danielle Frane has been hired as the new superintendent and special sheriff. Frane will oversee the administration and management of the Barnstable County Correctional Facility and the office’s law enforcement and public safety operations. She is a 2014 CSU graduate.

Christopher Williams
Christopher Williams was appointed as the town of Winterville’s new police chief. Williams most recently served the past 10 months as interim police chief and has worked with the town of Winterville for the past decade. The U.S. Army veteran holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from CSU.

Kevin Edwards
The New Hope Police Department has sworn in Kevin Edwards as their newest chief. He began his law enforcement career in 1990. “I’m looking forward to working with all the officers who I have come to know and working to keep the residents and visitors to New Hope safe,” he said. He is a 2016 CSU graduate.

Bobby Clemmer
Bobby Clemmer has been sworn in as the new Victorville fire chief. Clemmer is a credentialed chief fire officer, registered state fire training instructor, and certified chaplain. “I am excited to see what the future holds and truly believe this is where I’m meant to be,” he said. He holds an associate and bachelor’s degree in fire science from CSU.

Frank Ricci
The City of Casa Grande has welcomed Frank Ricci as the new fire marshal. Ricci has three decades of experience in the fire field. “I am honored to have served the City of Casa Grande as a fire battalion chief, alongside my fellow firefighters and colleagues in city government for the past 16 years,” he said. He is a 2005 CSU graduate.

Mike McQuistion
Mike McQuistion was sworn in as the city of Clinton’s fire chief. He will oversee 50 full-time firefighters and five building and neighborhood service employees. McQuinstion started as a firefighter paramedic with the Clinton Fire Department 25 years ago. He earned an associate and bachelor’s degree in fire administration from CSU.

Joe Pacheco
The Marietta Fire Department announced that Joe Pacheco has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Operations. He has been with the department since 1999. He earned two degrees, an associate degree in fire science and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, at CSU.
