Snook Christian Academy and Columbia Southern University Partner to Further Higher Education Opportunities for Baldwin County Citizens

Columbia Southern University (CSU) and Snook Christian Academy, based in Foley, are making it easier for soon-to-be high school graduates and Snook employees to go to college. The two institutions have signed articulation agreements that establish transfer credit pathways for Snook students, alumni and staff to pursue a degree at CSU.

Snook and CSU also established a Learning Partnership, giving any Snook applicant 10% off their tuition and eligibility to apply for the Learning Partner Scholarship, awarded multiple times throughout the year.

“This partnership opens doors for local high school students who may not have considered a Baldwin County college,” said CSU President Ken Styron. “These efforts offer a great investment that students and the Snook staff can pursue in their own backyard.”

Snook’s director of advancement, Haley Gray, is also a CSU student pursuing her Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership.

“As both a student of CSU and the advancement director at Snook, I am thrilled to see this partnership come to life,” said Gray. “This is an incredible step forward for our school, and I’m excited for the future as we continue to grow and enhance educational opportunities for our students.”
