Rachel Palmeri
Rachel Palmeri of San Antonio, Texas, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. Palmeri has established herself as a dedicated occupational health and safety professional and is currently serving as a graduate research and development safety intern at Southwest Research Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health at CSU.

Jason Caughey
Jason Caughey, fire chief of the Laramie County Fire Authority (LCFA) in Wyoming, has joined FireRescue1’s Editorial Advisory Board, serving as a senior fire advisor. Caughey has over 20 years of experience in fire service. “I am very excited for the new opportunity with FireRescue1,” Caughey said. “The fire service continues to evolve and be challenged in new ways every day. FireRescue1 has become the source for our industry to learn how to adapt to our changing environment.” He is a 2016 CSU graduate.

Dr. Charles Barker
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has named Dr. Charles Barker director of human resources. In this role, Barker is responsible for delivering expert executive leadership and direction in establishing and maintaining a proactive, visionary, vigorous, human resources program that is responsive to the needs of both DLA management and employees assuring optimum productivity and goal attainment in all program functions. He earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership at CSU.

Victoria RamageGarcia
Victoria RamageGarcia was promoted to chief warrant officer four by the U.S. Department of Defense’s premier Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on Nov. 15. RamageGarcia became the second command chief warrant officer in the 20-year history of the 20th CBRNE Command and has served in the U.S. Army for almost 20 years. She is a 2019 CSU graduate.

Yvette Rodriguez
Yvette Rodriguez has been with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, for 10 years. In her role, she is responsible for providing personnel and resource management. “My future goals include continuing to provide support to the warfighters who put their lives in danger for the American people every day and to ensure we are saving taxpayer dollars, as a taxpayer myself,” she said. She earned a master’s degree in business administration at CSU.

Kasi Corbett
Kasi Corbett has become an owner-operator of a Chick-Fil-A franchise in Woodburn, Oregon. Being brought up in a small community instilled in her the value of hard work and creating welcoming places within her community. After researching Chick-Fil-A’s history and mission, she realized the franchise aligned perfectly with her passion and interests. “It’s not about the chicken,” Kasi said. “The chicken is a vehicle to grow people and communities, and to show them care.” She received a master’s degree in public administration from CSU.

Keith McNamara
Keith McNamara of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, has been promoted to the rank of captain in the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD). A 16-year police department veteran, McNamara was assigned to the Investigative Services Bureau and will now oversee the Facilities Management Division. He is a 2023 CSU graduate.

Mark Bozik
Fire Chief Mark Bozik of North Aurora, Illinois, has announced his retirement with the Roselle Fire Department on Jan.27, 2025 after nine years of service. “I am proud of the men and women of the Roselle Fire Department and the high level of service we provide the residents and visitors of the village day in and day out,” Bozik said. “Our succession planning will ensure that high level of service continues while always looking for better and innovate ways to serve our residents.” He is a 2012 CSU graduate.

Douglas Goerke
Police Chief Douglas Goerke of Orlando, Florida, has been recognized with the 2024 Leadership Award by the Central Florida Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #176. He began as an officer with the Orlando Police Department and is a highly respected leader in his community. He received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from CSU.
