William Pitt
Parkridge Health System announced William Pitt as director of physician and provider relations for emergency medical services and outreach. Pitt brings more than 20 years of experience in health care, specializing in operational, financial and clinical aspects of emergency medical activities. “It’s an honor to be a part of Parkridge Health System in a role to drive innovative solutions that will improve patient care and community outreach,” Pitt said. He is a 2019 CSU graduate.

Jason Nazarenko
Baxter Health recently welcomed Jason Nazarenko as their business development coordinator. A pilot for the U.S. Army, he holds many certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management Professional. He is a 2017 CSU graduate with a master’s degree in business administration.

Orville Watson
The Osceola County School Board announced new leadership appointments and has named Orville Watson as their coordinator of transportation. He received a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health from Columbia Southern University.

Anthony Poulos
Oliver Maner LLP, a Savannah law firm, has added Anthony Poulos as new associate. A decorated veteran with a distinguished career in both the military and law enforcement, Poulos earned an MBA from CSU in 2014.

Albert Wright
Warner Robins recently announced the appointment of a new fire chief. Albert Wright, who brings more than 30 years of experience, has been chosen to serve in the role. He began his firefighting career in 1989. He is a 2021 CSU graduate.

Jamarkus Garrett
Jamarkus Garrett was recognized in Marquis Who’s Who. With more than a decade of experience in information technology, Garrett serves as the assistant vice president and operational risk officer for technology and cybersecurity at Hancock Whitney Bank. He is a 2017 CSU graduate.

Willie Bradfield
LaGrange Fire Chief Willie Bradfield was recently honored for his 25 years of dedicated service. He began his fire service career in 1997. Bradfield was hired as a firefighter with the LaGrange Fire Department in July of 1999, where he completed rookie school with honors and later became a certified EMT. He earned an associate degree in fire science at CSU.

Jay Krogstad
Jay Krogstad has accepted the Safety Specialist position at American Crystal Sugar Company’s Drayton Factory District. In this position, Krogstad will provide safety leadership to ensure the Drayton facility is in compliance with corporate safety standards. He has been with American Crystal since 2015. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in occupational safety and health at CSU.

Denis Borges
Denis Borges has been named city of Magee police chief. Borges has worked for Mississippi Department of Mental Health, Hattiesburg School District Police, Laurel Police Department, Jones College Campus Police and the Picayune Police Department. He is a 2024 CSU graduate.
