Columbia Southern University recently recognized Robert Ray of Texas as its 2023 Outstanding Law Enforcement Professional.
Ray currently is in charge of 150 officers and previously worked as a federal law enforcement officer for the Department of Defense and has worked to help veterans. He also served in the Army. He has received several awards including the Federal Police Officer of the Quarter (March 2021), Community Service Award – Life Saving Award – (August 2020) and an Army Commendation Medal (December 2021).
Ray is seeking his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in forensics.
The Outstanding Law Enforcement Professional Award was established as part of National Crime Prevention Month (October) and to recognize CSU’s criminal justice students and graduates for their commitment to safety, professionalism and their accomplishments in the field.
