The seventh edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) was released in the fall of 2019. Columbia Southern University will officially transition to the seventh edition on July 1, 2020.
When submitting assignments that require APA formatting, CSU requires students starting courses on or after July 1, 2020, to utilize the seventh edition guidelines. Students who are not yet familiar with the seventh edition are encouraged to review resources that are available through the 2020 Success Center Citation Guide.
