Dear Students and Alumni,
It is hard to believe we are already halfway through the year and the second half is sure to go as quickly as the first! I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day. It is an honor for CSU to be the institution of choice for so many veterans and members of the military.
CSU Library
If you have visited the CSU library recently, you may have noticed that the web page has been revamped in an effort for continuous improvement. While we hope the design eases in the navigation of the page, research is a skill and our librarians are here to teach each and every one of you how to become more proficient in your own research abilities. CSU librarians are available via email and telephone during business hours and available via chat 24/7.
National Safety Month
June is National Safety Month. One of CSU’s initial programs was Occupational Safety and Health and today, the program continues to grow. I am proud to say many of our graduates are leaders in their field and just like them, we believe promoting safety to reduce injuries and death is very important. We will be posting various safety tips on all social media platforms so be sure to stay connected to learn more.
National Conferences
Over the next few weeks, CSU will be represented at several conferences including the National Society of Human Resource Managers in Washington, D.C., and the American Society of Safety Engineers in Atlanta, where we will also be hosting a student and alumni social on June 27.
Last month we were busy visiting students and alumni during our Texas Roadshow events in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. We also hosted a networking event in Raleigh, North Carolina, and our CSU team members were ecstatic to have been able to meet so many of you!
We stay busy visiting all areas of the country for conferences and events so check in often to see when we will be near you!
God bless,
Robert Mayes
President
When CSU’s going to be regionally accredited? Today, everyone looks for regional accreditation.
Romanes, CSU has started the process of seeking regional accreditation while also maintaining DEAC accreditation. This is a long process that can span over many years and involves many steps and approvals. As with any institution and accreditation, there are no guarantees to the final outcome and students should only base enrollment decisions on CSU as it is currently.
