The holiday season is in full swing and I hope you are able to take some time to slow down and enjoy the season.
To our students and alumni serving in the military who will be away from home this Christmas, please know we appreciate your service and dedication. Likewise, we are thankful for our first-responders who will be on call during the holidays as they work to keep us safe.
Thank you all for being part of the CSU family. Know that the passion and drive behind CSU staff and faculty is serving you.
I could provide a long list of accomplishments and improvements made at CSU over the year. But nothing we do and achieve is more important than continuing to make sure the CSU culture and working environment inside this university continues to exist and improve.
This is because everything we are able to accomplish and the student service we are able to provide is all built on top of the foundation of the CSU culture. Only by creating an environment where people can feel part of a family, love the people they work with, and have no bureaucracy in the way of making improvements and change, can we truly deliver exceptional service.
And not only do we want to delivery exceptional service, we want to make a difference in your lives and we are honored for that opportunity.
It continues to be my honor to be your university president and to make certain CSU stays true to its mission and vision.
So, thank you once again for choosing CSU and being a part of this family.
Merry Christmas and God bless,
Robert Mayes
Keep up the good work, Columbia Southern University. I am proud to be an Alum and a part of this wonderful legacy which is changing lives near and far. I hope that you continue to educate and inspire individuals one mind at a time. May I leave you with this quote, “If someone is going down the wrong road, he doesn’t need motivation to speed him up. What he needs is education to turn him around.” Jim Rohn
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Columbia Southern University. May you continue to motivate, educate and inspire the world with your first class education.
Duane,
I love your quote by Jim Rohn. I am a big fan of Jim Rohn as well. I like the one quote he mentions, “You are the sum of the five people who surround you”.
Thank you for your support of CSU! We are proud of you as our CSU Alum! I would love to hear from you on my blog on the communicator called, “Empower You”. Please tell us your “CSU Story”.
Merry Christmas!
Chantell Cooley
