2 p.m. CST, July 19 – APA format requires titles to be formatted in a certain way on the reference page which differs from how the titles should be formatted in-text. This webinar explores those differences and demonstrates when it is appropriate to capitalize, italicize, or quote information.

Elements of a Sentence: Nouns and Verbs
2 p.m. CST, July 26 – This webinar will explore two basic components of a sentence: nouns and verbs. This presentation will help students to identify and define these concepts and explore common grammar rules to remember during their use. Noun-verb agreement rules will also be explained and explored through examples.

A Guide to Formatting Reference Citations for Webpages
2 p.m. CST, Aug. 2 – This webinar is intended to assist students in formatting reference citations for webpages in APA format. Webpages can be the most confusing sources to cite because the needed information is not always available. However, there is a method to the madness, and this webinar provides examples that will direct students to the correct APA format for different types of websites.

Back to the Basics: Sentence Fundamentals
2 p.m. CST, Aug. 9 – This webinar will cover the three basic types of sentence structures: simple, compound, and complex. It will go over the elements of these sentences as well as how to write each type of sentence. Since writing is required in every course at CSU, this refresher on fundamental sentence basics will be beneficial to all students.
