What the Success Center can do for YOU!
2 p.m. CST, May 24 – The Success Center is a free resource for all CSU students. It is comprised of four parts: a writing team, a math team, a career services team, and the Office of Disability Services. Tutoring services are offered from both the math team and writing team. Career Services is designed to help students prepare themselves for the job world. The Office of Disability Services offers students confidential assistance in courses, if needed, during their time with CSU. This webinar will explore and explain the benefits of the Success Center for all CSU students, past and present.

Parallelism: A Cumbersome, Difficult, and Confusing Element of Grammar Explained
2 p.m. CST, May 31 – Many students struggle with striking a balance between elements within their sentences that have similar levels of importance or meaning. These elements are usually connected by conjunctions such as “and” or “or” and a series of commas. This webinar will cover the proper ways to organize and present information found in these situations so that your writing is clear, understandable and legible.

PowerPoint Presentations
2 p.m. CST, June 7 – This webinar will cover basic guidelines and tips for making a PowerPoint presentation for the academic setting. While there will be some information about how to use PowerPoint, this webinar will mostly focus on the accepted norms for creating a professional presentation. This webinar will also go over how to make a PowerPoint presentation APA compatible.

How to Develop a Thesis Statement/Topic Sentence
