Formatting Formal Assignments
2 p.m. CST, March 22 – The webinar, “Formatting Your Formal Assignment,” will walk students through the basic steps of putting their formal assignments (research papers, article critiques, case studies, etc.) in APA format. This webinar will cover how to set up the margins, line spacing, font type and size, paragraph indentation, running head, and reference lists. 2 p.m. CST, March 29 – The webinar on plagiarism will cover all the definitions and nuances of plagiarism. Ideas will be presented to help students avoid the pitfalls of plagiarism and the ensuing consequences.

How to Utilize the CSU Library: Library Resources and Online Databases
2 p.m. CST, April 5 – This webinar will discuss how to best utilize the CSU Library. In addition to instructions being given on how to use the online databases, helpful tips and suggestions will be provided in order to maximize search results. Basic search engines can present a plethora of sources that may lack credibility. Therefore, learning how to utilize the resources which are readily available to you via the CSU Library will prevent wasted hours of wading through sources which do not contain scholarly content.

Internet Searches: Tips and Tricks for Finding Scholarly and Reputable Sources
2 p.m. CST, April 12 – This webinar will provide students with tips for conducting internet searches in order to find sources that are credible and factual. It will also list a few internet search tricks so that students might more easily find the information that they are looking for.
