Technical support now available to students

CSU technical support staff are now available to help students with Blackboard issues.

“Whether it’s assistance upgrading software or any issue you’re experiencing with Blackboard, we’re here to walk you through the process and get you back on the road to success,” said Susan Ellis, director of Student Services and Retention.

Students can reach a technical support representative via Live Chat, telephone (888) 394-5734, Ext. 6540 or e-mail us at techsupport@columbiasouthern.edu . Technical support hours are 8 a.m. to Midnight (Central Standard Time), Monday through Friday.

  • Here is a tip from the Success Center to help CSU students succeed in their studies:

Know the resources that are available to you. You have several valuable resources that are only a phone call or email away.

Your professor is always available to help you with any content-related questions. Student Services representatives are ready to assist you with policy or general CSU questions. The Technical Support Department can help you with Blackboard or computer issues. Your academic advisor can help you with course selection and degree planning, and, of course, the Success Center offers academic assistance. In addition, Career Services can help you with current or future career planning.

Finally, don’t forget the online library! This is a great resource for research. All of these resources are included in your tuition, so be sure to take advantage of what’s available!
