The Continuing Education department at CSU exists to provide our students with service, outreach and educational resources that give an opportunity to enhance their current careers or receive relevant training.
To better serve our students, the CE department has opened enrollment for two new courses.
CE 1105 – Maritime Hazardous Materials Inventory
The 2009 Hong Kong Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships aims to ensure that vessels, upon being recycled at the end of their operational lives, do not present any unnecessary hazards to human health, safety or the environment. This online course is designed to assist the student in becoming familiar with the requirements of the 2009 Hong Kong Convention. These requirements will become law effective in 2020 for all vessels over 500GT.
CE 1300- Certified Community Paramedic Review Course
The Certified Community Paramedic (C-PC) is an exam designed to validate the competency of paramedics who are providing services beyond the traditional roles of the emergency care paramedic. Developed in partnership with IAFCCP, this online course will focus on the application of concepts related to the critical thinking necessary to do well on the exam.
You can learn more about these courses, and enroll, by visiting our website.
There are also price changes to a number of courses in order to better align with the CE pricing models. Price changes are reflected in the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) courses, CE 1102 and CE 1201.
