CSU Alumnus Promoted in Siemens Industry
Jody Banks has joined the Boston branch of Siemens Industry’s building technologies division as the service supervisor. He was promoted from the Austin, Texas branch. Banks previously served in the U.S. Navy and received his bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health from CSU.
CSU Alumnus Named Fire Chief
Logan City, Utah Fire Department has named Brad Hannig as fire chief. He previously served at Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and Ivins City Fire and Rescue. He received his bachelor’s degree in fire administration from CSU.
CSU Alumnus Named Fire Chief
Shawn White has been named as the next fire chief of Henderson, Nevada. He previously served as the city’s deputy fire chief and has served at that fire department since 1999. He received his bachelor’s degree in fire science from CSU.
CSU Alumnus Joins Faculty at McPherson College
Lindsey Thiessen Godfrey has joined McPherson College in Kansas as an assistant professor of business, marketing and management. She previously worked as director of marketing for Bluestems Communities. She earned her MBA in marketing from CSU.
CSU Alumus Published Fire Article
Anthony Rowett Jr. recently published an article on fireengineering.com. His article, “Extending the Hoseline: Overcoming a Short Stretch,” covers the importance of effective and safe hoseline operations in fire service. Rowett is a captain with the Mobile, Ala. Fire Rescue Department and received his master’s degree in emergency services management from CSU.
Western Coventry Names CSU Alum First Full-Time Fire Chief
Western Coventry Fire District Board of Directors in Coventry, Rhode Island named longtime firefighter James Cady as the district’s first full-time fire chief. He previously serves as the battalion chief for the Central Coventry Fire District. Cady earned his bachelor’s in fire science from CSU.
CSU Alumnus Named Fire Chief
The fire department in El Dorado promoted interim fire chief Joe Haag as their fifth fire chief. Haag has served at the El Dorado Fire Department since 1996. He also served as an adjunct fire science instructor at Butler Community College. He earned a master’s in emergency services management from CSU.
