CSU Knight Named Emergency Management Coordinator

John Turner has been named as the newest emergency management coordinator of the City of Martinsville, Virginia. He has worked for the Martinsville Fire Department for the last nine years. Turner received a bachelor’s degree in fire science from Columbia Southern University.

 

CSU Knight Named Next Fire Chief in Sedalia, Mo.

Deputy Chief Greg Harrell has been named the next fire chief of Sedalia Fire Department in Missouri. The new position will take effect after the current chief retires in May 2018. Harrell has worked for the Sedalia Fire Department for thirty-eight years and graduated from CSU with a bachelor’s degree in fire science.

 

Police Captain and CSU Graduate Completes FBI Academy

Larry Seymour, police captain of Prineville, Oregon and CSU graduate, completed the challenging 10-week FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Seymour has served on the Prineville Police Department for thirteen years in various roles. He graduated from CSU with his associates and bachelor’s degrees.

 

CSU Graduate Named Fire Chief of Dona Ana County, N.M.

Nicholas Hempel will serve as the next fire chief of Dona Ana County Fire Department in New Mexico. He began his fire career in 1990 and also served in the U.S. Air Force. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from CSU.

 

CSU Knight Announces Candidacy for Illinois General Assembly

James Leslie is a firefighter in Naperville, Illinois who recently announced he would be running for the 50th District seat of the Illinois General Assembly in the 2018 election. Leslie has served on the Naperville Fire Department for fifteen years and received his bachelor’s degree from CSU.
