Tuesday, March 28: You are invited to “Preparing for Tomorrow: Infiltrating the Civilian Workforce” at the Iron Mike Conference and Catering Center at Fort Bragg. Attendees can participate in a panel discussion with experienced Veteran and corporate professionals or polish their interview skills during a mock interview session. Attendees are invited to a continental breakfast when doors open at 0800. The event kicks off at 0900.
SMA (R) Jack L. Tilley, the 12th Sergeant Major of the Army and Co-Founder & Chairman of the American Freedom Foundation, will be the Keynote Speaker. His talk, “Be Prepared to Transition: Pack Your Parachute Before You Jump,” shares his own transition story and offers advice on a smooth jump to the civilian workforce.
Veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses are invited to attend. The event is free and pre-registration is not required, but attendees will need a military ID for base access. Panel members will be announced close to the event.
Wednesday, March 29: Come back the following day to participate in the Fort Bragg Hiring Event. Employers will conduct scheduled interviews with pre-screened applicants. Registration is not a guarantee that you will be contacted or selected for an interview.
