CSU will be sponsoring two valuable workshops for safety professionals seeking to prepare for occupational safety and health industry exams.
The first, the Certified Safety Professional Exam Prep, will be held Jan. 28-30 at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Orange Beach, Ala.
The CSP exam is a second-level exam required in the two-test process of becoming a certified safety professional. The sessions will feature lectures and discussions on a variety of topics in preparation for the exam. Basic registration cost is $775 and $725 for CSU students and learning partners.
The second event is the Associate Safety Professional Exam Prep workshop on Feb. 18-20 in Pensacola, Fla.
The workshop, led by certified instructor David Wheeler, will cover the four key areas of the ASP exam for safety professionals. The areas include engineering, management, information management and communications, and professional conduct and ethics.
The course will feature lectures, sample problems and discussions on several topics to help attendees prepare for the ASP exam. Basic registration cost is $775 and $725 for CSU students and learning partners.

I can not make these dates but would like to be updated on later workshops on the ASP and the CSP. I graduated from CSU July 31, 2012.
Sorry you cannot make these workshops. We have scheduled another set of workshops for Oct. 18-20 for the ASP exam and Oct. 21-23 for the CSP exam. More details to follow on location, but it likely be either Pensacola, Fla., or Orange Beach, Ala.
I am working on my Associates Degree in Occupational Safety and Health at what stage should I start preparing for the Certified Safety Professional exams? Any help that you could give me would be appreciated.
