Using First and Second Person
2 p.m. CST, Nov. 15- This webinar will discuss when it is appropriate to use first and second person in academic writing, and it will provide alternative methods to using “I,” “you,” or “we”.

Writing Strong Body Paragraphs
2 p.m. CST, Nov. 29 – This webinar will cover writing the parts of the body paragraph. It will include information about topic sentences, choosing the best information from outside sources, and deciding between using paraphrased information and quotations. In addition, you will learn about adding your own thoughts and closing the paragraph.

EH 1010 Basics

2 p.m. CST, Dec. 6 – This webinar will provide students with a broad overview and an introduction to the EH 1010 course by showing students around the course in Blackboard, answering a few frequently asked questions, and addressing some common mistakes that many students make.

|Put the PRO in Pronoun: What You Need to Understand about Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement
2 p.m. CST, Dec. 13 – What’s a pronoun? What’s an antecedent? The antecedent of a pronoun is the word to which the pronoun refers. The pronoun should always refer clearly to its antecedent. This webinar covers maintaining agreement between a pronoun and its antecedent.
