Webinars to address LinkedIn, test taking

LinkedIn – Get it!
2 p.m. CST and 6 p.m. CST, April 19 – This webinar will introduce students to LinkedIn. Students will learn how to create and utilize the largest professional networking website in the world. LinkedIn allows you to connect to people all over the world. It is a free tool at the fingertips of all students. People can apply for jobs, connect with alumni from a university, connect with old friends, or even advertise an open position at a business. There is an abundance of information to assist in the art of networking, and the first step is to get “linked in.”

PS 2000 Unit 8 Case Study
2 p.m. CST and 6 p.m. CST, April 26 – This webinar will guide you through the process of completing the case study. Finding the proper case, researching the forms of law used in the case, and locating resources for proper APA format for the finished paper will be covered.

Multiple Choice Test-Taking Strategies
2 p.m. CST and 6 p.m. CST,  May 3 – This webinar will cover study and test taking strategies for multiple choice exams. During this webinar, students will learn tips, tricks, and strategies for effectively completing this type of test. This webinar will be beneficial for all students, as most courses have multiple choice questions on the unit assessments.

An Overview of SLS 1000
2 p.m. CST and 6 p.m. CST, May 10 – This webinar is designed to provide an outline of the Student Learning Success course. Each unit will be discussed, along with the addressing of previous questions that have been presented by students.
