CSU has been named one of the GI Jobs military friendly schools for the second consecutive year.
The 2011 list honors “… the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools which are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students. Schools on the list range from state universities and private colleges to community colleges and trade schools,” according to GI Jobs, which publishes the military friendly schools list. The listing is scheduled to be posted on the website, militaryfriendlyschools.com, in September.
CSU is also one of Military Advanced Education’s Top Military Friendly Schools. The university has received this honor for the third consecutive year. In addition, CSU has ranked number 10 among Military Times EDGE magazine’s Top 50 Schools.
Nearly half of CSU students are members of the U.S. military.
